It started with a giveaway I couldn't check.
Nobody said it was rigged. The point is that nobody should have to take anyone's word for it.
The question
I entered the dbrand × MKBHD × OnePlus giveaway. It was run in the open — and I still couldn't prove I was in the draw.
The idea
Working on blockchain tech, it clicked: let a future Bitcoin block be the dice nobody can predict or re-roll.
The build
Built with AI into OpenGiveaway: a sealed list, a Bitcoin timestamp, and a draw anyone can re-run.
That giveaway's own write-up: dbrand.com/winners/giveaway-005.
Read it, run it, check it yourself.
The protocol, the verifier and a self-hostable edition are on GitHub — so the proof never depends on trusting this site.
OpenGiveaway is independent. It isn't affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to dbrand, Marques Brownlee (MKBHD) or OnePlus; their giveaway is mentioned only as where the question came from.
